Remington Pearl Wand

I have a love-hate relationship with my hair. It is very long, straight and heavy! I get so bored with it, threatening to chop it all off just for a change. There is nothing to it, it is just there.

I generally only wash (and condition occasionally), brush and dry my hair - and there lies my problem, I'm just not creative enough with it. I don't even straighten it. It's straight enough already (as far as I'm concerned).

For work, I have to wear my hair up and I have recently been trying out different styles incorporating plaits, messy buns and top knots, as opposed to just a normal boring pony tail.

If I'm going out and I wanted to make my hair a bit curly, I would generally just use my GHD straightening iron. However, this only really created a pathetic curl at the end which would fall out really quickly.

So... recently I purchased the Remington Pearl Wand after seeing the amazing results it can achieve on YouTube.

I am not disappointed!

I can add volume and thickness. I can have big voluptuous curls, I can have princess curls and ringlets!

It comes with this heat proof glove, which I find a bit tricky to use at the moment, because I can't feel my hair in between my fingers so keep letting it go when I reach the end - grr! But the wand reaches a whopping 210 degrees, so it will hurt if you accidentally touch it. I am living proof - ouch!

The wand also comes with a heat proof pouch to store it away in. I don't know whether the it is only the inside which can withstand the heat or whether it is a place to rest the wand down when you are grabbing another section of hair to curl. However the tip of the wand and the middle are heat free so provide an adequate stand if you are laying it to rest on a hard surface.

And for a low maintenance hair girl like me, it is so quick and easy!! Just a little hair spray and the curls stay for a couple of days!

God send!
